Density functional theory study on two-peak emission of Eu2+ activators in Sr2SiO4

Enhanced luminescence by charge compensation in red-emitting Eu3+-activated Ca3Sr3(VO4)4

The effects of charge compensation on the luminescence behavior of a red-emitting phosphor, Ca3Sr3(VO4)4:Eu3+, were investigated. It has been observed that charge compensated by monovalent ions, especially Na+, shows greatly enhanced red emission under ultraviolet excitation.

The photoluminescence properties of Y2O3:Eu3+ prepared by surfactant assisted co-precipitation-molten salt synthesis

Indium sulfide microflowers: Fabrication and optical properties

Unusual intrinsic luminescence of the host and energy transfer process in YVO4:Er3+ phosphors

The comparison of the photoluminescence excited at 320nm (the absorption of vanadate host) and 380, 490, 525 or 532nm (the absorption of erbium ions) in visible and infrared range has revealed that energy transfer process has occurred in the system.

Investigation of Pr-doped fluoride crystals as possible white-light emitters

White-light emission from BaY2F8, KYF4, KY3F10 and LiLuF4 samples with different Pr3+ doping levels from 0.3% to 3% is described. We report here their CIE chromatic coordinates and the intrinsic emission efficiency as the ratio of the absorbed and the emitted signal.

Preparation and luminescence characterization of GGAG:Ce3+,B3+ for a white light-emitting diode

We prepared Gd3Ga2Al3O12 (GGAG) co-doped with trivalent cerium and boron ions and investigated its luminescence properties as a function of the B3+ concentration. The luminescence intensity was enhanced markedly by adding B3+ as a co-dopant.
