Judd–Ofelt analysis and near infrared emission properties of the Er3+ ions in tellurite glasses containing WO3 and CdO

The influence of erbium (Er3+) ion concentration on the infrared emission at 1.5?m in TeO2?WO3 and TeO2?CdO?WO3 glasses was studied. The samples were prepared by conventional melt quenching method.

Evolution of Yb3+ environment and luminescence properties under ionizing irradiation in aluminoborosilicate glasses

Yb-doped aluminoborosilicate glasses were irradiated with 2.3MeV electron and gamma rays at different doses ranging between 104 and 2.6?109 Gy and the local structure around the Yb3+ ions has been studied using a combination of NMR, EPR and photoluminescence spectroscopic techniques.

Dielectric and spectroscopic investigations of lithium aluminium zirconium silicate glasses mixed with TiO2

Effects of GeO2 on the thermal stability and optical properties of Er3+/Yb3+-codoped oxyfluoride tellurite glasses

? GeO2 enters into oxyfluoride tellurite glass network structure. ? Te:Ge=1:1 predicates better thermal stability and poor crystallization tendency. ? GeO2 improves maximum phonon energy and decreases phonon density. ? GeO2 promotes red emission much more than green emission.

Luminescence spectroscopy of rare earth-doped oxychloride lead borate glasses

Ln-doped oxychloride lead borate glasses were studied using luminescence spectroscopy. Rare earth ions were limited to trivalent Pr3+, Tm3+, Eu3+ and Er3+. Tm3+ doped Bi2O3–GeO2–Na2O glasses for 1.8μm fluorescence

53.3BiO1.5?33.3GeO2?13.4NaO0.5 (cation%) glasses with various Tm3+ concentration were prepared by melt-quenching method. These glasses show high density, high refractive index, low phonon energy and good stability against crystallization.
