A novel solution method for selective synthesis of pure t-LaVO4

Tetragonal phase LaVO4 (t-LaVO4) was successfully selectively synthesized through a simple solution method with La(NO3)3 and NaVO4 as starting materials without any templates or catalysts. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

Synthesis and optimum luminescence of monodispersed spheres for BaWO4-based green phosphors with doping of Tb3+

Monodispersed spheres for Tb3+-doped BaWO4 (BWO:Tb) phosphors were prepared by a hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field-emission scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize the resulting samples.

Facile and Controllable Synthesis of Monodisperse CaF2 and CaF2:Ce3+/Tb3+ Hollow Spheres as Efficient Luminescent Materials and Smart Drug Carriers

Highly uniform and well-dispersed CaF2 hollow spheres with tunable particle size (300-930?nm) have been synthesized by a facile hydrothermal process. Their shells are composed of numerous nanocrystals (about 40?nm in diameter).
