Luminescence of PbS quantum dots spread on the core surface of a silica microstructured optical fiber

The broadband luminescence spectra, in the region from around 1000 to 1650nm, of lead sulphide (PbS) quantum dots (QDs) spread onto the dual core surfaces of silica microstructured optical fibers (MOFs) (core diameters of ~2.5 and ~5.0?m) are reported.

Nanostructured thermoresponsive quantum dot/PNIPAM assemblies

Layer‐by‐Layer All‐Inorganic Quantum‐Dot‐Based LEDs: A Simple Procedure with Robust Performance

A novel all?inorganic electroluminescent device is demonstrated based on highly luminescent CdTe nanocrystals intercalated within a laminar hydrotalcite?like structure. The laminar scaffold acts to both support and distribute the CdTe nanocrystals.
