Synthetics of ZnO nanostructures by thermal oxidation in water vapor containing environments

Metallic Zn films deposited on glass were wet or dry oxidized at 390?C in pure N2 or O2 to understand the effects of water vapor in different oxygen partial pressure on growth of ZnO nanostructure during thermal oxidation.

Single‐Photon Hot Band Absorption Induced Anti‐Stokes Luminescence of Rhodamine 101 in Mesostructured Thin Films

Highly efficient 1.53μm luminescence in ErxYb2-xSi2O7 thin films grown on Si substrate

ErxYb2-xSi2O7 thin films were grown on SiO2/Si substrate by sputtering method and subsequent annealing process. By introducing Yb3+ into the lattices, the 1.53?m emission intensity in ErxYb2-xSi2O7 is enhanced about 15 times, compared with Er2Si2O7.
