Determination of Pindone in Baits by using Time-Resolved Lanthanide-Sensitized Luminescence and Kinetic Methodology

imple and fast kinetic method for the determination of pindone in baits was developed. It is based on the inhibitory effect of this indanedione rodenticide on the luminescence of the europium(III)-thenoyltrifluoracetone system in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide.

Excitonic processes in Li- and Na-doped CaF2

The optical properties of nominally pure CaF2 crystals as well as those of pure and Li+ and Na+-doped CaF2 powders are compared. The emission band peaking at 3.85 eV and the excitation band in the region of 10-10.

Excitation of intrinsic and extrinsic luminescence by synchrotron radiation in a NaF crystal

The reflection spectrum as well as the excitation spectrum of self-trapped exciton emission at 2.6 eV has been measured in a NaF crystal at 5 K. The width of a forbidden band equals approximately 12.3 eV.

Development and characterisation of czochralski grown LuxRE3 1-xAIO3: Ce crystals (Re3 = Y3 and Gd3 )

Mixed Ce-doped LuxRE3+1-xAlO3 : Ce crystals have been grown for RE3+ = Y3+ and Gd3+ ions by the Czochralski method. Quality, reproducibility, dimensions, presence of defects and composition of the crystals were investigated and described.

Luminescence of BaFCI: Eu2 and SrFCI : Eu2

The TL, XL, PTTL and OSL of BaFCI: Eu2+ and SrFCI : Eu2+ were studied. The PTTL stimulation spectra of BaFCI : Eu+ had maxima at the Eu3+, Eu2+ absorption bands and at the long wavelength tail of Fabsorption.

In-situ luminescence measurement for AlN ceramics under reactor irradiation

The behavior of luminescence emission of AlN ceramics under reactor and gamma irradiation has been studied with in-situ luminescence and thermoluminescence methods. A broad emission peak (around 370 nm), which had a different position for AlN samples with different oxygen concentration, was found.

Cerium-bound excitions and fluorescence quenching effects in cerium doped LaLuO3 single crystals

This phenomenon is interpreted by a model involving the formation of cerium-bound excitons, their lowest excited state lying closely in energy from the emitting state of Ce3+.
