Gradient hysteresis in MRI and NMR experiments

In this paper, we describe a gradient hysteresis effect that can modulate the current in gradient coils during MRI and NMR experiments. A simple pulse sequence is presented for the purpose of evaluating the resulting changes in the accumulated phase.
