Mouse myocardial first‐pass perfusion MR imaging

A first?pass myocardial perfusion sequence for mouse cardiac MRI is presented. A segmented ECG?triggered acquisition combined with parallel imaging acceleration was used to capture the first pass of a Gd?DTPA bolus through the mouse heart with a temporal resolution of 300?400 msec.

Detection of T2 changes in an early mouse brain tumor

Validation of simple and robust protocols for high-resolution lung proton MRI in mice

One fundamental limitation of spatial resolution for in vivo MR lung imaging is related to motion in the thoracic cavity. To overcome this limitation, several methods have been proposed, including scan-synchronous ventilation and the cardiac gating approach.

Functional evaluation of therapeutic response for a mouse model of medulloblastoma

Profiles with microscopic resolution by single-sided NMR

ingle-sided NMR sensor to produce depth profiles with microscopic spatial resolution is presented. It uses a novel permanent magnet geometry that generates a highly flat sensitive volume parallel to the scanner surface.

In vivo detection of PARACEST agents with relaxation correction

Several pulse sequences have been used to detect paramagnetic chemical exchange saturation transfer (PARACEST) contrast agents in animals to quantify the uptake over time following a bolus injection. The observed signal change is a combination of relaxation effects and PARACEST contrast.
