Current methods of analysis for the determination of trichothecene mycotoxins in food

This article describes the trends in analytical techniques for the determination of trichothecene mycotoxins, namely deoxynivalenol, and T-2 and HT-2 toxins in cereals and cereal products with particular emphasis on screening and rapid approaches.

Determination of free α-lipoic acid in foodstuffs by HPLC coupled with CEAD and ESI-MS

Chlorogenic acid is an important bioactive compound which is unstable under ambient conditions. In this work, chlorogenic acid was extracted from tobacco leaf and purified by high performance liquid chromatography. ?-Cyclodextrin (?-CD) was used to form inclusion complex with chlorogenic acid.

Simple and high-throughput method for the multimycotoxin analysis in cereals and related foods by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry

pid, reliable and sensitive method was developed to determine 12 mycotoxins (deoxynivalenol, aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and M1, fumonisins B1 and B2, ochratoxin A, HT-2 and T-2 toxin and zearalenone) simultaneously in maize, walnuts, biscuits and breakfast cereals.
