Nuclear magnetic resonance studies on vanadium(IV) electrolyte solutions for vanadium redox flow battery

The vanadium(IV) electrolyte solutions with various vanadium concentrations are studied by variable temperature 1H and 17O nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.

17O NMR study in (Pu0.91Am0.09)O2

In order to investigate the magnetic properties of Am4+ ions in the cubic fluorite structure, we have performed 17O NMR measurements on (Pu0.91Am0.09)O2. We have observed a temperature-dependent 17O NMR line broadening induced by classical dipolar hyperfine fields from the Am 5f moments.

Haloacetylated Compounds: Solvent Effects on the 17O Nmr Chemical Shifts of 1,1,1-Trichloro-4-Methoxy-3-Alken-2-Ones

The chemical shifts of carbonyl group of the two molecules show similar dependencies (in ppm) on the solvent polarity-polarizability (-17?*, -15?*) and the solvent hydrogen-bond-donor (HBD) acidities (-7?, -6?).

Natural abundance 17O NMR chemical shift data for 12 variably hindered aryl acid chlorides recorded in acetonitrile at 75? C are reported. The 17O NMR signals for the hindered acid chlorides are deshielded relative to unhindered isomers.
