Magnetic Screening of 19F Nuclei in Perovskite KMgF3

The present work cites the measurement data for the magnetic screening tensor of fluorine nuclei in KMgF3 and comparison results of 19F screening tensor components in this substance with the theoretical, based on the overlapping pattern of ion wave functions.

The Structure and Chemical Bond Peculiarities of Si, Ti, Zr and Hf Complex Fluoride Hydrates

Compounds with the common formula MAF6.6H2O, where M is a bivalent transition metal and A a quadrivalent element, form a large series of fluorocomplexes which so far has undergone little study. Besides MAF6.6H2O, zirconium and hafnium likewise form more complex compounds with the composition1 M2AF8.

EPR-NMR Signal Enhancement with a Small Computer

Digital Equipment Corporation PDP 8/S Computer is interfaced with an EPR Spectrameter to achieve signal enhancement. A computer-based system for spectrum accumulation and noise averaging of EPR or NMR signals has been designed and implemented.

A Study of Antiferromagnetic Ordering in β-FeF3·3H2O by the Use of the NMR Method

The present work cites the investigation results of local magnetic fields on 1H and 19F nuclei and spin ordering in ?-FeF3?3H2O. In the structure of this compound (space group P42/n, a=7.846 ?, c=7.754 ?, z=41,2) Fe atoms are bonded via bridged F atoms (1) in infinite chains along the /001/ axis.

Fluorine NMR in Zirconium, Hafnium and Thorium Tetrafluorides and f-Orbital Contribution to Interatomic Bonds

Previously1 we have observed a 19 NMR asymmetric line in polycrystalline ThF4 in the 6-9 kOe fields, which was ascribed to the anisotropy of the 19F nuclei screening constant.
