Synthesis of Au/C and Au/Pani for anode electrodes in glucose microfluidic fuel cell

Gold nanoparticles have been prepared by two methods: chemical (ex-situ, Au/C) by two phase protocol, and electrochemical (in-situ, Au/Pani) by electroreduction of gold ions on a polyaniline film and compared as anode catalysts in a glucose microfluidic fuel cell.

Three dimensional film electrode prepared from oppositely charged carbon nanoparticles as efficient enzyme host

Three dimensional carbon film electrodes were prepared from oppositely charged carbon nanoparticles (ca. 9 to 18nm diameter) by a layer-by-layer approach. This was done by alternative immersion of indium tin oxide plates into suspension of positively and negatively charged particles.

Coercivity enhancement in Nd–Fe–B sintered permanent magnet by Dy nanoparticles doping

Growth research of Sn nanoparticles deposited on Si(001) substrate by solid phase epitaxy

Uniform and densely packed (~1010 cm?2) Sn NPs were obtained at low Sn coverage, low annealing temperature and short annealing time, respectively. The XRD results showed that, the formed Sn NPs were in the form of crystalline ?-Sn, with a distinct orientation of Sn(110)//Si(001).

Acute toxicity study of the interaction between titanium dioxide nanoparticles and lead acetate in mice

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is one kind of widely used nanoparticle, which was used as a solid-phase extraction to preconcentrated and measured of lead (Pb) in river water and seawater. However the interaction of nanoparticle TiO2 and Pb was unknown.

Tansy fruit mediated greener synthesis of silver and gold nanoparticles

In this paper we have reported the green synthesis of silver (AgNPs) and gold (AuNPs) nanoparticles by reduction of silver nitrate and chloroauric acid solutions, respectively, using fruit extract of Tanacetum vulgare; commonly found plant in Finland.
