Oxidation of liquid solders for die attachment

Preparation and oxidation protection of CVD SiC/a-BC/SiC coatings for 3D C/SiC composites

n amorphous boron carbide (a-BC) coating was prepared by LPCVD process from BCl3?CH4?H2?Ar system. XPS result showed that the boron concentration was 15.0at.%, and carbon was 82.0at.%. One third of boron was distributed to a bonding with carbon and 37.0at.% was dissolved in graphite lattice.

Weld oxide formation on lean duplex stainless steel

Cyclic oxidation of yttria dispersed austenitic stainless steels

Yttria additions improve the resistance to spallation. The increase in the resistance to spallation appears to be related to the presence of mixed oxides between yttria and base metal oxides.

Electropolishing effects on corrosion behavior of 304 stainless steel in high temperature, hydrogenated water

The corrosion rate of electropolished 304 stainless steel surfaces (UNS S30400) is found to be lower by more than a factor of three relative to that determined previously for machined surfaces in mildly alkaline, hydrogenated water at 260?C.

Zinc treatment effects on corrosion behavior of 304 stainless steel in high temperature, hydrogenated water
