Preparation and cytocompatibility of Si-incorporated nanostructured TiO2 coating

MG63 cells were cultured on the surface of the coating to investigate its cytocompatibility. Potentiodynamic polarization tests were used to measure its corrosion resistance. The results showed that Si was successfully incorporated and distributed homogeneously in the coating.

Short‐term oxidation and hot corrosion resistance of a gradient CrN/Cr1−xAlxN coating

Improvement of the isothermal oxidation resistance of CoNiCrAlY coating sprayed by High Velocity Oxygen Fuel

Two CoNiCrAlY powders with similar chemical composition and granulometry, but with different starting reactivity toward oxygen, were sprayed by High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) onto Hastelloy X superalloy substrates obtaining coatings of comparable thickness.

Influence of sodium silicate concentration on structural and tribological properties of microarc oxidation coatings on 2017A aluminum alloy substrate
