The electrochemical properties of three structurally different flavonoids ((+)-catechin, quercetin
and rutin) on a glassy carbon electrode were studied at different pH by cyclic, differential pulse and square-wave voltammetry.

Voltammetry of half-sandwich manganese group complexes of η 6-PhC3B7H9 and η 5-C60Bn2PhH2, two ligands that are cyclopentadienyl mimicks

The E 1/2 potentials of both the oxidation and reduction of manganese and rhenium half-sandwich complexes have been measured in CH2Cl2 and THF containing [NBu4][B(C6F5)4]. Three tricarbadecaboranyl compounds and one penta-organo fullerene compound were studied.

Kinetic study of the electrochemical mineralization of phenols in thin-layer condition

Electrochemical oxidation of p-nitrophenol (PNP) and p-methoxyphenol (PMP) at Bi-doped PbO2 electrodes under thin-layer condition was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroelectrochemistry (FTIR) as a function of electrode potential and the initial concentration of organic compound.

Direct electrochemical detection of DNA methylation for retinoblastoma and CpG fragments using a nanocarbon film

We describe the direct electrochemical detection of DNA methylation in relatively long sequences by using a nanocarbon film electrode. The film was formed by employing the electron cyclotron resonance sputtering method and had a nanocrystalline sp2 and sp3 mixed bond structure.

Application of three-electrode electrolytic cell to evaluate thin films of vegetable and mineral oils

Films (~5?m) of rapeseed and mineral oils with or without antioxidants were coated on steel disc electrodes. Initial stages of corrosion and oxidation were monitored by potentiodynamic polarization and impedance spectroscopy in ammonium borate electrolyte at pH 9.0.
