Effect of dopants on the phase formation in microwave processed Al–Al2O3 composites

Microwave processing of undoped and doped Al powder compacts was performed for the preparation of Al?Al2O3 composites. Mg, Mg?Si and Al2O3 were used as dopants to study their effects on the oxidation of Al powder and resultant Al?Al2O3 composites.

Microstructure and bioactivity of Ca, P and Sr doped TiO2 coating formed on porous titanium by micro-arc oxidation

In the present study, bioactive coatings enriched with micro-pores and Ca-P-Sr elements were formed on pore walls of porous titanium by micro-arc oxidation (MAO). Oxidation behaviour of HfB2–15 vol.% TaSi2 at low, intermediate and high temperatures
