AbstractThe catalytic system Pd(CF3COO)2-Ph2P(CH2)3PPh2-MeOH/Me2CO was studied by electrospray mass spectrometry. The direct conversion of benzene to phenol in the gas phase in a palladium membrane reactor has been investigated with deviating results by various researchers in recent years.
