Effect of pre-deformation and phase transformation on the creep behaviour of Ag–1wt% Cu alloy

The plastic deformation behaviour of Ag?1wt% Cu alloy during phase transformation was investigated by studying the creep behaviour with and without different degrees of torsional pre-deformation, 12%, 24%, 36% and 48% at different ageing temperatures ranging from 633 to 693K.

Deviation of activation energy caused by neglecting a temperature term in Ozawa Equation

In the non-isothermal kinetic equation, the temperature integral from 0 to T 0 never equals to zero, so a deviation of activation energy is introduced when the term is neglected.

Kinetic study on ethanol production using Saccharomyces cerevisiae ITV-01 yeast isolated from sugar cane molasses

The aim of this work was to investigate the kinetics of ethanol fermentation using Saccharomyces cerevisiae ITV-01 yeast strain in a batch system at different glucose and ethanol concentrations, pH values and temperature in order to determine the optimum fermentation conditions.

Effect of Gd addition on the activation energies of Bi-2223 superconductor

We have investigated the effect of addition of Gd in Bi1.8Pb0.35Sr1.9Ca2.1Cu3Gd x O y superconductor with x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5. The samples were prepared using the standard solid-state reaction method.

The low temperature oxidation of Fosterton asphaltenes and its combustion kinetics

The influence of low temperature oxidation (LTO) on Fosterton oil sand asphaltenes (FOSA) is examined in this work. The Fosterton oil sand asphaltenes were subjected to air oxidation, at a low temperature, ca. 220?C, for a specific period of time (6.33h) in a fixed bed tubular reactor.
