Activated- and temperature-controlled carbon filter to avoid interferences of ozone and nitrogen dioxide on semiconducting gas sensors

Superior adsorption capacity of film typed carbon for the abatement of sulfur dioxide

In this study film typed carbons (FTC) are chemically modified to effectively adsorb SO2 with an excellent capacity, even at very high temperatures (200?300?C). The FTC has an adsorption capacity of around 1.4mmol/g at 300?C, which is 460% more than the commercial activated carbons (0.25mmol/g).

Fullerol–fluorescein isothiocyanate phosphorescent labeling reagent for the determination of glucose and alkaline phosphatase

The active ?OH group in fullerol (F-ol) could react with the dissociated ?COOH group in fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) to form F-ol?(FITC) n , which could emit room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) signal of F-ol and FITC on acetate cellulose membrane (ACM), respectively.

Temperature-swing adsorption of precious metal ions onto poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) gel

The amount of Pt(IV) ions adsorbed onto the DMAEMA gel decreases linearly with an increase in temperature. The TSA operation was successfully carried out; the DMAEMA gel repeatedly adsorbed and desorbed Pt(IV) ions in the temperature-swing operation between 20?C and 60?C.

Adsorption of Bromoxynil by Modified Bentonite: Influence of pH and Temperature


This study investigates the adsorption behavior of bromoxynil under various pH and temperature conditions. Organo-bentonite complexes were prepared and used as adsorbents for bromoxynil. The concentrations of bromoxynil in equilibrium solution were determined by HPLC.
