Variation of microstructure and composition of the Cr2AlC coating prepared by sputtering at 370 and 500°C

Cr2AlC coating was deposited at 370 and 500?C by D.C. magnetron sputtering from an as-synthesized bulk Cr2AlC target. The phase composition and preferential orientation of the coating were investigated using XRD, and the microstructure of the coating was characterized by TEM.

Effect of substrate temperature on the crystal growth orientation of SnO2:F thin films spray-deposited on glass substrates

Transparent conducting thin films of SnO2:F have been deposited onto preheated glass substrates by a spray pyrolysis technique using dihydrate stannous chloride (SnCl2?2H2O) and ammonium fluoride (NH4F) as precursors, and mixture of water and ethanol as solvent.

Substrate temperature influence on the trombogenicity in amorphous carbon nitride thin coatings

Effect of Substrate Temperature and RF Biasing on the Optical Properties of Titania‐Like Thin Films Obtained by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition

Thin titania?like films were obtained and characterized with respect to their cut?off wavelength and their spectral absorption coefficient in the UV range. Accordingly, the cut?off wavelength was found to be higher for films obtained on the DC?self?biased electrode.

Effect of substrate surface temperature on the microstructure and ionic conductivity of lanthanum silicate coatings deposited by plasma spraying

patite-type lanthanum silicate shows a high ionic conductivity and low activation energy at intermediate temperature (600?800?C) compared with Yttria stabilized Zirconia (YSZ). In addition, its excellent stability in a wide oxygen partial pressure range meets the requirement for the electrolyte.
