Heat capacity of high-temperature superconductors: Analysis within the framework of the impurity mechanism

AbstractThe impurity mechanism proposed earlier is used to interpret the heat properties of hightemperature superconductors. The expression for the heat-capacity jump describing its temperature and magnetic field dependences is obtained.

AbstractThe excess volume VE of binary mixtures of octanol, nonanol and dodecanol in ethylbenzene have been calculated from the densities measured with a vibrating tube densimeter at temperatures from 50 to 100 °C and at pressures from 0.1 to 7.5 MPa.

High-temperature superconducting dual-mode resonator on (100) MgO substrate

AbstractWe report, for the first time to our knowledge, a clear resonant peak split in the range of 7.7–9.7 GHz in a perturbed dual-mode disk-type resonator (DMDR) made of YBa2Cu3O7–x (YBCO) superconducting thin film on MgO substrate.
