Transverse and Bond Strength of Restorative Resins

One silicate, one acrylic resin, and five manually and two mechanically mixed composite resins were studied. The strength was tested by three point loading on rectangular specimens (2 ? 2 ? 12 mm) 24 hours after storage in water.

The Wettability of Composite Resinous Filling Materials

The adhesive properties of the composite resins Adaptic?, Addent 12?, Blendant?, Dakor? DFR?, and TD 71? and of the non-composite resin Sevriton Simplified? have been studied by measurements of contact angles between solid surfaces of the resins and drops of six different test liquids.

Pseudo-Discoloration of Plastic Fillings

The purpose of the present work was to demonstrate whether marginal discoloration of plastic fillings may cause an apparent discoloration of the whole filling. The synthetic resins used in the investigation were Addent XV and Sevriton Simplified. Cavities were cut in teflon and plexiglas.
