Mass Spectrometry of Trimethylsilyl Derivatives of Substituted Salicylanilides

The mass spectrometry of a series of trimethylsilylated substituted salicylanilides is reported. Information from trimethylsilyl-dg isotope labeling experiments and high resolution mass measurements were employed to ascertain the structure of fragment ions.

Part I: Design of Electrolytic Cells and Calculation of the Mean Current Density

The cylindrical cell design was found suitable for deuterium enrichment of relatively large volumes of water. The perforation of the anode helped in the free and rapid liberation of the gasses. The second plate type design was more suitable for enrichment in small volumes.
